Preservation Legacy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation , EIN: 93-2085210, dedicated to qualitative research and preservation of oral histories. Our primary initiative, THE VETERAN STORY, is to capture and safeguard the diverse stories of Veterans by contributing them to the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and related special collections. Every Veteran's story is worth telling, sharing, and preserving. We support Veterans by honoring their military service and their individual experience in their own words and voice.

Opportunities for college and high school level students to interact with Veterans, learn valuable critical thinking, writing, and research skills while earning academic credit. Includes interaction with the Library of Congress Veteran History Project.

Gain valuable insight on many different levels. From history, geography, culture, language, journalism, multi-media , psychology and more, there are opportunities to learn through a Veteran's story and interaction with Library of Congress staff.

Organizations can distinguish themselves as a recognized contributor to the Library of Congress / Veterans History Project by participating or sponsoring an event for interviewing Veterans and preserving their stories to the Library of Congress.
