Preservation Legacy is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to qualitative research and preservation of oral histories. Our primary initiative, THE VETERANS STORY, is to capture and safeguard the diverse stories of Veterans by contributing them to the Library of Congress Veterans History Project and related special collections. Every Veteran's story is worth telling, sharing, and preserving. We support Veterans by honoring their military service and their individual experience in their own words and voice.
Opportunities for college and high school level students to interact with Veterans, learn valuable critical thinking, writing, and research skills while earning academic credit. Includes interaction with the Library of Congress Veteran History Project.
Students can learn something valuable from every Veteran's story. From gaining insight of history, geography, culture, language, physical fitness training, psychology and more, there is much to learn through a Veteran's story and personal perspective.
